Barb Jensen held a Halloween Tag contest in her Yahoo Group...I wasn't going to enter, but
decided to last minute...I threw some images together and this is what it turned out to look like....lol.
My tag was one of four that won...Thanks Barb for having these awesome contests!!!
The "real" tag has nudity in it, but Photobucket and Facebook don't like that, so I had to cover up
the exposed areas...lol. Facebook also doesn't like animation...they really need to get with it.

Well, lots have been going on since November. Real life had gotten a bit
rough, I was stressed to the max.
Anyway, I have decided to retire from making scrap kits, for many reasons.
One, I didn't have the resources or the money to put out to buy CU items to put in
my kits, second, my kits really weren't all that great, and third, I would much rather
make tags in PSP.
I have also decided to open a Yahoo Group Tut Site that is designated
to tutorial writers that write or have written tuts that do not include
scrap kits or elements. It's really frustrating when you see a new tut, looks
fantastic, but really all you are doing is copy/pasting this and that.
I learned PSP by doing tuts that taught you had to use the lasso tool, how to make
a preset shape from a dingbat, how to make a brush, etc. It was a
challenge building a tag from the bottom up, making squares or circles with the
preset shapes, using the magic wand to make the "marching ants" appear.
Don't get me wrong and scrap kit designers, don't get offend, because
I have a lot of respect for those that can create beautiful kits, but
tuts today are just copy/paste using PTU or FTU kits. Some of us "old timer"
taggers want to go back and regain our mojo and make a tag from a tut that
actually makes you use the tools in PSP, the plug-ins, etc.
So, with that said, "Cut the sCrap from PSP-Tut Site was born and opened yesterday
to ALL tut writers who have new or old tuts that contain no kits.
The group isn't just for tut writers to advertise their tuts, anyone who wants to
join to learn about new tuts or even old tuts, please come join the group.
It is a non-interactive group, the only things coming through will be links to tuts.
So please, click the link above, join, sit back and relax, pull up PSP, and get ready to learn
how to PSP, the old school way.
hugs for now

About Me

- Joanie
- I'm better know as "RyLee" in the PSP Community. This is my little corner of the world where I share tags that I make in Paint Shop Pro/Animation Shop. I am self taught, about 9 years now. I learned by searching n searching for tutorials on how to make tags...finally it all sank in. I hold a license to use Barb Jensen, (my first license), CDO (CILM), Jose Cano, Up Your Art, PTE, AIL, My Tag Art, Pics for Designs....I know I'm forgetting one or two. I love pinup art, nudity does not bother me....we were all born with (@)(@). I love taking pictures, baking n cooking, looking at eyes....looking into someone's eyes... If you want to check out a few tuts that I wrote, please visit my other blog: www.tutorialsbyrylee.blogspot.com/ If you need me, contact me at: rylee1966@gmail.com
